The USB-ISO-3 is a rugged, port-powered, industrial-grade USB 2.0 isolator. This product optically isolates the USB host and the USB device with a 5000VDC optical isolator, which effectively protects your computer from ground loops, transient surges, remote lightning and spikes. The unit supports data rates up to 12Mbps (auto-sensing and self-adjusting) and it requires no software drivers. This industrial USB 2.0 isolator is efficiently powered from the USB bus and it requires no external power for low power-consumption applications, such as a keyboard, mouse, or flash drive. It also comes with an optional DC power input jack for high power-consumption applications, such as a USB scanner, USB hard drive, or USB printer.
